Year 2025 is the final year of the Sendai Landslide Partnerships 2015-2025 and the Fifth year of the Kyoto Landslide Commitment 2020 for Global Promotion of Understanding and Reducing Landslide Disaster Risk. Both initiatives are a Commitment to the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030, the 2030 Agenda Sustainable Development Goals, the New Urban Agenda and the Paris Climate Agreement.
At this opportunity, the ICL will organize the Memorial Conference for SLP2015-2025 and KLC2020 at UNESCO and publish the Memorial issue for the Sendai Landslide Partnerships 2015-2025 and the Kyoto Landslide Commitment in December 2025.
